Caring for silver
925 silver darkens slowly with air and skin contact. A little care keeps both finishes at their best for years.
Store it dry
Keep each piece in its own soft pouch or a zip bag, away from damp and perfume. Less air means slower tarnish.
Put it on last
Wear jewellery after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off before bathing or swimming.
Clean gently
Wipe polished silver with a soft silver cloth. On oxidised pieces, wipe only the raised areas so the dark detail stays.
Mind the stones
Pearls and coral are soft. Keep them away from water and chemicals, and never use a dip cleaner on stone-set pieces.
