Silver made to be worn
Palak Gems & Jewellery works in 925 sterling silver, often set with the coloured stones Jaipur is known for. This page covers how we work, the stones we use and how to look after your pieces.
Pure 925 silver
Sterling silver that holds its shine and its shape, with the weight of every piece shown openly.
Jaipur detailing
Jaali work, beaded edges, lotus buds and ghungroo bells: the motifs of Rajasthani silver, reproduced in each model.

The stones we set
Panna
EmeraldThe green stone Jaipur is best known for. Cut and polished in the old city for centuries, it is worn for growth and clear thinking.
Manik
RubyA deep red stone tied to the sun. Set in silver it reads warm against the metal, especially in an oxidised finish.
Neelam
Blue sapphireA strong blue stone that is usually chosen with care. It suits clean, bright silver settings that let the colour lead.
Navratna
Nine gemsNine stones for the nine planets, set in a fixed order with the ruby at the centre. A classic Jaipur design for kadas, rings and pendants.
Stone shades in the 3D models are for illustration. Natural stones vary, and the exact stone, size and certificate are confirmed when you enquire.
Keep it looking new
925 silver darkens slowly with air and skin contact. A little care keeps both finishes at their best.
Store it dry
Keep each piece in its own soft pouch or a zip bag, away from damp and perfume. Less air means slower tarnish.
Put it on last
Wear jewellery after perfume, hair spray and lotion, and take it off before bathing or swimming.
Clean gently
Wipe polished silver with a soft silver cloth. On oxidised pieces, wipe only the raised areas so the dark detail stays.
Mind the stones
Pearls and coral are soft. Keep them away from water and chemicals, and never use a dip cleaner on stone-set pieces.
